Oh How I Miss the Great Outdoors!

I keep visiting gardens in my spare time (the above are from the Mildred E. Mathias garden right on UCLA's campus) to feel a little more calm, but the very planned, manicured feel just isn't cutting it. Nothing sounds more appealing to me right now than camping. Or Big Sur.

Anyway, Hannah Kirk wanted to see a picture of the library, so I went to a very pretty one:

  1. Have you tried finding some hiking places along the coast? Poison oak is an issue, but that's manageable. Other than that, you've always got the desert, lol!

That's right -- you have a whole bunch of libraries to play in!!!

  2. I need to do more looking for both places to go & people to go with! At the moment, it's a bit difficult as I've gotten a new job recently & don't want to be asking for days off too soon so there aren't too many days I have free!
'Til then, I'll just have to have pretend adventures in libraries, while thinking about libraries, & doing assignments about libraries

  4. I've actually never been to any part of Oregon, one of the many states I'm missing out on! Everyone I know who's visited Portland loved it to bits & pieces so maybe one day, I will make a visit up north!

  5. It's very pretty indeed! I could spend hours in there and be perfectly content. Thanks for uploading a pic. :)
